The compact IrDA-standard transceiver attaches to a computer's USB port and allows it to communicate via infrared with any AlphaSmart 3000 equipped with an IrDA port. The USB IR Pod works with any USB PC with Windows 98 or newer, or any USB Mac with OS 8.6 or newer.
